LED coved lighting profile – indirect lighting design in dry construction.

Based in Enger, the company Hera has succeeded in reinventing indirect lighting with its LED coved lighting profile. Perfectly adapted to modern room scenarios, slim-line, sophisticated recessed profiles are combined with state-of-the-art LED lighting technology. The result is stylish coved lighting which leaves a lasting impression due to its understated elegance and maximum energy efficiency.

The new high-grade and innovative lighting solution with an LED coved lighting profile - developed by Hera for exceptionally stylish and sophisticated indirect cornice, cove and floor lighting in residential interiors and commercial buildings. The ultra-slim LED cove lighting profile is only 15 mm thick and fits discreetly into any modern architectural space.

Recessed profile and LED lighting technology in perfect harmony

The base element, which creates uniform lines of light in interior spaces, is a slim steel-plated profile element clad with plasterboard panels. Depending on the application area, this is available in three models (cornice, cove or floor profile) and widths between 20 and 80 mm. The slim-line and particularly stylish cove lighting solution uses the tried-and-tested LED Sticks 2 and LED Line or LED RGB lamps from Hera. These are ideal for producing shadow-free uniform light on surfaces and combine the benefits of state-of-the-art LED technology and flexible, extremely space-saving design.

Powerful, non-stop light output

The LED sticks are tailored to each individual lighting requirement and are fitted with a maximum of 36 extremely durable SMD diodes, which achieve a total output of 2.4 Watts per 300 mm strip lighting. The LED sticks offer endless design possibilities, as connector elements can be combined with lateral light input. The available lengths - 70 mm, 200mm and 300 mm – can be connected together in no time at all, linking long, as well as continuous strip lighting, which can be easily adapted to any room layout.

The SMD LEDs used, have an average life of 30,000 hours and are therefore extremely durable and naturally energy efficient. Depending on the required application, the LED sticks are available in the following colour temperatures: cold white, warm white and neutral white. As an option, the lamps can also be connected via a dimmable 24V LED DC voltage transformer.

Hera will be presenting further advantages at the Interzum from 25th to 28th May 2011 in Cologne (Hall 4.2, Stand A020).
