Hera at the Interzum 2013 - The LED-Pipe linear luminaire gives light that extra twist

Premiere at the Interzum: Hera will be presenting a new pipe-shaped LED linear luminaire called LED-Pipe, which provides sophisticated lighting schemes with precise beam control.

Especially designed for the versatile requirements of modern lighting in residential and commercial environments, the new lighting solution LED-Pipe combines an extremely compact, slim design with maximum creative freedom for variable strip lighting. The LED-Pipe is flexible enough to be adapted to any individual room interior, is available in four lengths - 310 mm, 610 mm, 910 mm and 1210 mm - and stands out from the rest with unparalleled lighting details. Depending on the length, the LED-Pipe has a power consumption of 7.5 W (310 mm), 15 W (610 mm), 22.5 W (910 mm) and 30.0 W (1,210 mm) with a luminous flux of 80 lumens per watt. Extremely durable 420 mW LED lamps are used with a colour rendering property of Ra/CRI > 90. A 100° beam angle also ensures that surfaces are evenly illuminated.

360° rotation

The LED-Pipe can be fully rotated 360° and if required, can be swung into any position, so that light is directed to the place where it draws the attention of the viewer without glare. Individual lighting moods can be created with the three light colours available in extra warm white (2,700 K), warm white (3,000 K) and neutral white (4,000 K). The LEDs‘ high average lifespan of around 30,000 operating hours also ensures maximum efficiency.

The LED-Pipe is connected using the 25 mm cable supplied together with a ready-to-use LED 24 plug-in system, so that the linear lighting is extremely easy to install.

As standard, the model is supplied with a crew for mounting on wood. The LED-Pipe can also be optionally fitted with a magnetic holder.
