Versatile and economical – the SlimLite® CS LED

LED is newest addition to the proven SlimLite® product range from Hera   The new SlimLite® CS LED model - an innovative LED version which Hera had added to its proven classic linear luminaire product range. The intelligent lighting solution produces a brilliant light with almost no dark spots and accounts for a significant improvement in energy efficiency in both commercial and store construction.

The new SlimLite CS® LED lighting solution combines the multi-functionality of the proven SlimLite product range with state-of-the-art LED technology. As a result, the model is able to meet the constantly increasing demand for optimum energy efficiency while maintaining top lighting quality and maximum freedom of design. Designed as an intelligent lighting system for variable lighting strips in residential and commercial buildings, the main advantage of the SlimLite CS® LED compared to conventional fluorescent lamps is its energy-saving properties and long life. A 200mW LED with an exceptional average lifetime performance of 30,000 hours means the extremely versatile lighting strip uses approximately 50 per cent less energy than conventional fluorescent lamps – with the same light intensity. For individual lighting scenarios, it is possible to select the colour temperature of the LED lamp e.g. a warm white 3,200 Kelvin or neutral white 4,100 Kelvin. The RA 90’s outstanding colour rendering also ensures a light quality of the highest standard.

Versatile in every way

The SlimLite CS® LED’s proven flexibility comes from its many practical and sophisticated details.

Depending on the individual room setting, lamps are available in three standard lengths i.e. 595 mm, 895 mm and 1195 mm. A simple plug-in system means the lamps can be easily connected to each other in a variety of ways. Hera also provides exceptional design potential, depending on the requirements, by combining LED and linear luminaires in one system and allowing them to be interchanged in no time at all. The LEDs are integrated into the casing and can be rotated 180 degrees, so that various lighting scenarios can be achieved, depending on the application. A 60 degree beam angle also ensures uniform area lighting.

Depending on the lighting requirements, the SlimLite CS® LED is available in both a HE and HO version. The extremely economical HE version stands out due to its extremely low power input of 7 to 12 Watts, depending on the length of the lighting strip. The SlimLite CS® LED HO is available as an alternative to the standard version, producing a significantly higher light yield in the smallest of spaces. HO stands for High Output, which refers to the slight increase in the LED’s power input of 11 to 19 Watts.

Hera will be presenting further advantages at the Interzum from 25th to 28th May 2011 in Cologne (Hall 4.2, Stand A020).
